In case you all missed it, a beta of DivX 6 for Mac has finally been released. It includes Tiger and QT7 support:

Now, the only components I have in my /Library/Quicktime directory now are the two new DivX Fusion ones, WMACodec and the AppleIntermediateCodec. I removed the others and every file I have plays in Quicktime with ease. Well, those and the MPEG-2 component. I'm a happy camper.
Edit - course, VLC still reigns supreme
