    Just bought a DL drive. It came with Nero 6, which i have not used previously. been burning for years with RecordNow max but it does not support DL. Anyway, i used smartripper>DVD2one, but when i try to burn a video DVD with Nero i get an illegal disc error message. i have tried various discs and guides and i think my settings are straight. I have burnt for years without problem and want to jump to DL. Any suggestions? coasters are getting expensive. thanks.[/b]

    Hi,

    Use dvddecrypter. Just rip and burn. It will do a 1:1 for dual layer leaving the split intact.

    The latest Nero can brn to dual layer. But I would also suggest the same as yoda. Use decrypter to rip and burn in ISO mode
