Have JVC GR-DVM75, now certain that I've lost the 2(+) cds that came with the camera when I bought it. Problem is I bought it from a store but it was a demo model, don't think I registered with the corporation. While I have the current drivers installed on my current WinXP, in the future I will no longer be able to use the camera on other computers or OSs as they must have the drivers installed to recognize the camera, especially true for the USB driver (snapshot transfer). Already ran into problems when I went away on a trip to friends' but could do nothing on their computer. Will be equally bad as I buy new computer/install new OS.
Did a few google searches over the last few months but only links I saw were ad/sales. Finally found the archived page on jvc.com but they had no download options, no drivers available. Anyone point me in a good direction? If anyone has the drivers now, I would like to post my spare email address here. Otherwise ALL replies and help appreciated!! ( mikeke@gmail.com )

Don't know if you've been here, but I see the drivers, manual and other associated programs on this page. I DL'd the drivers with no problem, just to see if it would work. I don't have that camera.

well I'll be damned. really great to see it! been looking for about 4 months now.
I also tried downloading it, awfully small (64k) so I hope that includes all drivers. readme file talked about USB, but I don't know if it covers other connections (such as firewire configuration or whatever), etc.. anyways I use PC cafes so I have to find one that will let me burn it onto a cd. Thanks alot!!!!!!! -
Glad to help. Sometimes those pages come and go.
I think the 64K is just the USB setup. You don't need anything for Firewire transfer, it's in XP.
The other stuff on your missing discs may be towards the bottom of the page, looks like generic editing or playing software, probably not that important. If you have, or DL the manual, it may tell you what should be on the discs.
