Hello all,
Im trying to set up video rebroadcast from a Windows notebook on a specific event that should be rebroadcasted from the broadband server working on Linux. I have already set up VLC on windows machine, I have succeeded to set up the port redirection on NAT, and even connected to the video stream from outside, it works fine. Also, VLC player on the server is installed and works fine for broadcast.
BUT, I can´t figure out the correct configuration I should use on two players. What encapsulation methos should I use? What transcoding does the Linux VLC undaerstand and is capable to rebroadcast? I always get the ¨Error syncing to MPEG" error when trying to play in Winamp, or something like that. Like, the end-user client does recieve the stream, but is unable to decode it and play.
Are there any common solutions for this kind of task?
