  1. Hi I have A VCD Boot disc for my dreamcast and I have watched a couple of movies on it. I have grokster which I download Music videos from and I was just wondering was there any programs that I could use to put those music videos on the CD-R as a VCD so that I could play it on the dreamcast. I've tried some of the programs that are offered on this site but they just don't seem to work. For example I've tried VCD easy CD (Freeware) and the option Burn did not appear it was like the window was cut off for some reason. Nero didn't work at all it said that the Execution file was modified and my computer may have a virus which is not the case. Now if you know the process of doing this could you please give me some info and free downloadable programs that I could use. I know that you have to convert the file into MPEG1 and then burn it. But if you could help me out please don't hesitate thanxs alot.

  2. What I think you want to do is convert the movies that you have into the correct format for viewing on a dc. I'm asuming you are using GypPlay and in that case you need to convert it using TMPGEnc (at the tools page) into a vcd. For best viewing GypPlay needs a slightly different setting in TMPGEnc, you can download TMPGEnc as well as the configuation file here. And as for you burning problems, make sure you burn it as a data cd (iso) and not a vcd along with the plain files . Also try reinstalling it if that doesn't work. Have fun!
