Is it possible to convert WMV files to either AVI/MPG or something so that ffmpegx can convert them to DVD? I can't seem to figure out a way to do it...

There are many versions of WMV video, some of them can be converted by using "DivX ffmpeg", the others are not supported.

If you spend $50 on Flip4Mac's WMV Player Pro, you can import directly into QuickTime (QT Pro req'd), that means you can export to .dv and from there burn DVD with iDVD or use ffmpegX to make DVD of it.Originally Posted by jimstem
