Current value pack Taiyo Yudens TYG01's 100 packs from Supermediastore.

On a couple of backups recently, at a certain point of the movie, it suddenly jumps back to a point a few minutes earlier and carries on.....! Its not the players fault as it did it on two different players.
Anyone else experienced this ? Is it faulty TY's or what ? Ideas ?

  2. It looks like a SW bug, that caused an error in the video file. I don't think it's a media related problem.

It CAN'T be a media error. It is obviously an authoring error.

Had this happen to me and it was a media problem. Not saying it isn't an authoring problem but if the software has worked before it's unlikley to start putting skips in. If it happens to all the discs though i'd say it is probably an authoring error or your burner doesn't like the discs ( although thats most unlikley since they're taiyo yudens).

Easy to find out. Play original files direct off HDD. If those skip, authoring. If not, burning or media.
