I am looking for a good price on 50-100 Silver Inkjet-printable 8x DVD-R media for a Philips 8631 and Epson Stylus Photo 900. They must be widely compatible with stand-alone DVD players. Hub-printable would be nice, but I have not seen any anywhere.
I hear the silver inkjet-printable TYs do not live up to their traditional quality, especially the print quality
I hear the SS Maxells are having similar problems. They say printable, but not inkjet printable. Are these thermal only?
Verbatim does not seem to make any silver inkjet ones.
I am not familiar at all with the TDK PrintOns. They seem very expensive, but if they have a nice sale I might be interested.
I just finished some Fujis with some coasters, and the ink is light on its rough print surface.
Any and all recommendations are welcome.
One last question:
Why do many of these manufacturers have silver inkjet-printable CD-Rs, but not DVD-Rs?
Thanks!
