    There are 50 packs of TDK 8x DVD-R that are TYG02, however. They're pretty easy to spot as they come in the trademark Taiyo Yuden cakeboxes.

    Incredible!
    I mean few things are incredible.

    1. Yes TTG02 (and of course TYG02) burn great on LG (LG is very picky on lower quality media though)

    2. I just came back from a big chain store where I expected to find some lower priced discs (I'm in Japan). Nope - the price you mention here is for usually 10 slim cased or in best case 20 cake boxed discs

    3. If I order online it's not much better here - usually p&p is defeating the reduced price and it is cheaper to buy expencive discs from the store (unles you buy few cakes of 50 I guess)
