IMO, if they prove that this woman was trying to defraud Wendy's out of money by using a dead relatives finger, they should lock her up for a long time as an example to others that may think of trying the same thing.
The amount of damage to Wendy's reputation could be very high, I know I wouldn't think of eating their chili after reading about this story. OTOH, if she is on the up-and-up, that should be proven too.
Heaven knows there's enough wierd stuff in our food, without more being added.

bowl itself, it merely being the origin of the broth
Given her history I suspect Wendy's as being the
target of a scam and I hope they are somehow
able to punish this woman for the obvious damage to their business.
