I downloaded a VCD and it works fine my sister's computer, but on my computer I don't get any sound. I can play other media formats like divx just fine, but I can't get any sound on VCDs. I've tried downloading various codecs and so far nothing has worked. I've tried different programs and all of them play the video, but none play the audio. Any ideas on what I should do??

Sounds (no pun) strange, as VCD is tightly defined, and if anything plays VCD at all, you should get audio too. What have you tried to use to play the VCD? I suggest PowerDVD to play VCD.

Yes, I tried playing them in Power DVD. As well as Media Player Classic, BSPlayer, and even VirtualDub. All give me video but no sound.
