I have analog cable, I record mostly boxing.
ESPN2 boxing from last Friday night appears to strobe at times.
This was recorded using my dvd recorder.
Last nights NBCs' Contender appears to jitter, this was recorded with my VHS recorder.
What gives ?

Perhaps it's an experiment using a broadcast flag.

broadcast flag won't affect analog recording.

I recorded The Contender with my DVD recorder and everything was fine. Like some of the others said, maybe check your hardware and also the connections.
