Hi i have a really BIG question and was I could use any help.
I want to be able to have 2 winfast vc100 pci cards on a computer but cannot seem to get them working toghether.
The scenario is 2 cards each with it's one surveillence camera. The problem is that when you install the cards, the card that you install first will work ant the second will not. Meaning one will behave properly while the other will just show a blue screen. This using the Windows media encoder for seeing the image (but any software has the same result) . needles to say winfast pvr software just block when you try to open it if 2 cards are installed.
Another very interesting thing is that I installed a winfast vc100 card with 3Deamon a tv tuner (bt878 I think) and of course only the vc100 worked (it was installed by windows first) .. but when using there software I could control the caputing on the vc100 either by winfast pvr software .. or the tv tunner software ... I mean both programs operated on the same device... and that was pretty strange.
I am really desperate about this .. and I also have to do it by tommorow.. I was unable to find a way by myself so here I am needing assistance smile.gif.
I've tried seeting the cards up on 3 diffrent computers.. the same results everywhere (2x 2.4 celerons an an older pIII)
Btw. I also tried universalt bt878 drivers found on sourceforge btcap or somerthing like that and they didn't work..
The bottom line is that I really need to make theese cards work toghether ... or if there is no way to do this (I am just surprised by a company not testing this) if you could suggest other cards that to capture via RCA input and you can use more then 1 on a computer I would be glad to know

So no clues as to why 2 vc100 cards are not working on the same computer?!?! I am really desperate about this .. I have about 10 cards and they are really starting to feel useless

ATI AIW (All in Wonder) Graphics/TV Tuner Cards. They support the primary Video/TV Tuner Card and one additional TV Wonder (PCI) card. I run two each on 2 systems. One to run my surviellance cameras and the other to Stream video over my network. The software will have to support the 2 tuners. Thats why you can't make yours work correctly. I also have one system with the Hauppauge Win MCE 500 (Two MPEG Hardware TV Tuners on one unit). I run a PVR program that allows you to record 2 TV shows at once. Oh, the ATI software also supports Motion Triggered as well as Time Elasped Recording as well. You can also specify what areas to include and exclude when using this feature. Nice feature.

Unless Winfast's software has the ability to control 2 then no. I take it you are trying to control/record surviellance cameras? Or record TV broadcasts?
