I'm trying to burn 6 20minute episodes on to a DVD via Nero OEM 6.6.0.6 and NeroVision Express 3 3.0.1.18

I've been burning disks fine for ages, but after I upgraded I have been getting errors and wasting disks.

Would anyone be able to help if I attach the log file - can that pinpoint what's gone wrong ?

Don't know but I've seen quite a few posts about burning issues using Nero lately. Do you have the latest updates?

This has all happened after the upgrades. It's the first project I've tried to burn...

  4. Try the fix which I read about in another thread, and which fixed the burning error I received after "upgrading":

In the final screen before you actually burn your DVD, "Burn Options", in the "Set The Parameters For Burning" window on the right, select the "Recording Settings" option, and un-check the "use Burn-At-Once" option. This apparently causes Nero to create the disc structure in a temp file on your hard drive before burning onto a DVD (as in NVE 2), as opposed to burning it "at once" onto the blank disc.

The error I was receiving at the very end of the burn routine was that the program couldn't create disc structure. Maybe it is caused by a drive compatibility issue or something. I sent the log and infotool files to Nero support to see what they say, but since de-selecting the "burn-at-once" option I have burned several good DVDs.

  5. I am glad my "fix" is working. On that post I stated that I had buned an image to the drive then burned to dvd. I hadnt had the time to try just turning off the burn at once option. I have now and have burned two dvd's without issue.I dont know what the problem is exactly but it, for at least some people seems to be the burn at once option.
