  1. Let's try this again. I have Roxio Easy CD/DVD creator that came with my Plextor 708A. I also purchased Nero 6 Ultra. I have Encore updated now to 1.5 as part of my video system. I've managed to get about a dozen from more than 100 attempts at burning.

I'd like to know if there's an easy way to store my delivery DVD's with a copy for myself that would convert (easily) back to an AVI file that I could pull into timeline on video editor and burn additional (or dupe) originals.
Cleints frequently ask for changes and copies.

Also, is there a decent +R printable out there and are they adviseable?
I'm trying to fix a jittery -R and would like to know how to bring it in (save it) as an AVI so I could output it to a +R. Duping in Roxio will only allow plus to plus or minus to minus.

While I might have your learned attention, is there a converter program out there (other than buying Flash) that will allow me to output files as Flash when storing them to a DVD?

    Thanks and blessings to all

As long as you realize that quality is gonna take a hit..

If customers are asking to reedit frequently, then perhaps the original .AVI should be stored on MiniDV..

But if you're already convinced otherwise, then VirtualDubMpeg should be able to take your .m2v (and/or mpeg) and recompress out to an .AVI..

  4. Ya know, that's a pretty good idea, actually. Mini is quite inexpensive when compared to DVCAM. And I can do it easiy with my VTR. It handles DVCam and MINI.

You just made my go to list! TANKS!!!!!
