I'm just getting in to making DVD's and i bought a new computer and i got a combo-drive cd-r,cd-rwand dvd+rw.Ijust found out that the dvd+rw drives will only write to +rw discs and not dvd-r and dvd-rw.Iwas wondering is there any benefit in having a dvd+rw drive than a dvd-r drive.Where i bought the computer from said i could send it back and they would refund my money if i wanted to do so.Any replies will be appreciated.

well some ppl say that's the format that will win the format war... I don't know apperently it's less compatible with dvd set-tops tho... i don't know why you absolutly want a dvd-rw instead... is there a specific reason?
