I am hoping to find someone that has burned VCD slideshows sucessfully on a G4 Powerbook. I am using DVD Picture Show by Ulead and had success with the older G3 and an aftermarket burner which I have given to my daughter. With the new combo drive, I had hoped to make slideshows to play on the Sony DVD standalone player like I use to do with the desktop G3 Mac. I can't seem to figure it out. It appears to burn but then the player says it can't read the disk, or there is no audio data. Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance.

I finally had success when I used Toast instead of the disk burning utility on the Powerbook. I don't think you can do VCD with it.
