i'm going to purchase a dvd recorder soon..i mostly want it to transfer my Beta tapes and Vhs tapes to dvd..a few questions..
1: is there any problems copying direct (tape to dvd)
2: should i purchase one with a harddrive, download the tape and then copy and
3: from experience which model would you guys recommend

Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

1. Not a problem unless the tapes have copy protection on them.
2. You can use a hard drive model for editing, but editing on a computer is easier and more precise.
3. JVC (best picture quality), Pioneer, LiteOn.
