Mad Dog 16x Burners
Mad Dog makes two kinds of 16x burners. One internal and one external.
Supports bitsetting which is good. Is an OEM NEC so I guess get it if you can find it cheaper than the NEC. -
A co-worker heard me talking about it and swears off of it due to a CD-Writeable he bought 2 years ago.
I am speaking of the internal writer.
What about Lite-On? -
I didn't even know Mad Dog existed two years ago. Or are you referring to NEC? Anyway, keep in mind that a company like Mad Dog can use a variety of different OEM manufacturers so blame can be laid to whoever made the CDRW drive in the first place.Originally Posted by fatmanskinny

What about Lite-On?
I am using an Optorite brand DVD burner and am quite happy with it. Optorite is also a VERY inexpensive brand much like Mad Dog. -
