    Hi I'm new to this Forum and to all this DVD authoring stuff,so please show some patience.. and I appreciate any help you can provide.

    Heres the case, I made a DVD, the only problem is now I want to add background music to it in the menu of my DVD, is there anyway to do that without going through the process of full re-encoding... and if so what application/software should I used or is this a lost cause??

    There's no need to fully re-encode everything - you will have to reauthor though. TMPGEnc DVD Author can do the job reasonably swiftly and pain-free IMO.
