  1. When I try to open some of my AVI files in VirtualDubMod, I get this error message:
"Error decompressing video frame 0: An unknown error has occured (may be corrupt data). (error code -100)"
Many other programs, such as TMPGEnc, simply can't read the video either. Yet Windows Media Player can play the file fine. Does anyone have an idea on how I could fix this so it could be opened in editors? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Tried any of the tools under the Video repair/fix banner in the tools section ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. Not until now...

But none of them helped. I can still play the video in a player, but can't view it in VirtualDub and can't convert it at all.
