I have now turned to Slideshow Movie Maker which seems the best so far, however, I need to remove the original file name which appears on the corner of each slide. I've tried deleting it from where it says Picture Text followed by update but to no avail. Is there a way or am I stuck with a name for every picture even if it's a dot? Any ideas guyz & girlsOops!

Yes - that's right, the way you tried. However I found that the file list must be selected correctly.
Click on the first file in the Picture List then while holding the SHIFT key, click on the last file in the list, so that all are highlighted. Then you should be able to clear the file name in the 'Picture Text' box and press Update, this should clear the 'Text' column for all the pictures.
Now when you generate the AVI it shouldn't show any text.
