  1. I don't know if anyone else is using this
but for some reason the TV Wonder don't work
properly on XP the picture is distorted as in just a bunch of lines, I used the latest
drivers on ATI's site and the card installed
just fine without driver problems, and it actually worked fine 1 time, I'm using
    a geforce GTS video card

please help if u can, thanks

If you have a ALI chipset on your motherboard, just give it up. They hate capture cards and beleive me I tried about 3 differnet kinds, applied all of the patches and nothing worked.

If you have a VIA one, everything should work fine, unless some Direct X files are corrupted.

  3. Go to your desktop. Right click. Go to properties. Click settings. change your color quality to either 32 or 16 it doesn't matter. It should work now. You have to do this every time you want to use it.

Hope it helps. It worked for mine

    Method 1 :

I run the ATI TV Wonder. Works flawlessly for me. Cable is split so I
have digital cable in the s-video input and analog cable in the antenna input. Video camera or game consoles do nicely in the composite input. Only problem was analog cable would start up scrambled. Holding ctrl while opening TV fixed that... after about a week it seems to magically fix itself.

    Method 2 :

As soon as you see the MMC TV Splash Screen, click anywhere on the
background of the desktop prior to the TV window popping up. This will
cause the MMC TV window to lose the "focus" and somehow the image issue is resolved. Pretty pathetic that ATI can't solve this issue. It only occurs with TV Wonder + GeForce + WinXP. I have this same issue, like many others. Other than that, it seems to work pretty well.
