  1. Ok i have a few problems.

First, my tray does not feed anymore, so I think i need to get a replacement from Epson.

Two, i just reformated so i went to look for the box w/ the cds and i cannot find it, someone must have thrown it out.

What do you think my options are. Can I even call up Epson and have them send me a new tray? I dont have the box or anything. Also.. I got the extended warrenty from Staples (the one where if u walk in w/ the item, they have to give u a replacement right there), but im assuming since I dont have the box i cant return it. I also need to get the Epson Print CD software from somewhere.

If anyone has any info/ideas, let me know! Thanks

  2. already an update.. i found the cd.. thank god it wasnt in the box.. I still need to get a new tray.. (if thats the problem and not the rolers)

Now does anyone know epsons policy about sending the tray? do i need SKU numbers on the box or something?

Also, anyone know Staples policy on that warrenty.. i hope not having the box doesnt void the warrenty!

Why not just call staples and ask? The warranty should cover the printer, not the materials/box

As an additional note, Epson customer service has always been very friendly and helpful in my experiences. Manufacturers usually suggest keeping the box, but should an RMA be necessary, having a shipping company pack the item for you would most likely be acceptable (UPS Store, Mail Box Etc.)

Companies usually provide packing instuctions for RMAs, either in the manuals, or when the RMA is issued.

    Good Luck!
