Hello everyone-I'm looking to buy a simple DVD player for my Mom and Dad for Christmas. Single disc, basic player. Simple remote two older people can use. I'm going to give them a player with a bunch of DVDs with family photos and videos on them, heck, they might even check out a movie.
$50 or less, it won't get used that much. Something like this CyberHome - http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=82-101-008&depa=10 - maybe. Nothing fancy.
All opinions welcome, thanks in advance-Ron B

Thanks stiltman-I hate shopping, especially Xmas shopping here in SoCal. It's vicious. I just want to get them a basic player, the most important thing is they can work the darn thing. I need to pick the best of the cheap DVD players, they don't need a bunch of features. Probably a big thing is a simple remote. I'm hoping my straight A student niece will show them the ropes, I'll be getting her a DVD-RW for her computer.
My dad made me sit through a bunch of slide shows, now it's my turn to return the favor.
