Ok i have an avi that simply wouldnt encode with TMPGEnc, i kept getting errors. so i scanned the file for errors using virtuadub and it says something like 2 bad frames, 100 good but undecodeable. So what can i do? how can i fix this so i can convert it to DVD? Thanks in advance.

After scanning, if Vdub says that it has "masked" the frames then all you need to do is set both the audio and video to direct stream copy then save avi. Your file will be saved without the bad and undecodable frames, and if you're lucky it actually caught all of them. Convert as usual.Originally Posted by Longstaff"Art is making something out of nothing and selling it." - Frank Zappa
