Philips DVD 751 region hack,HOW DO I DO THIS...?????PLEASE R

Guys,
I have a philips DVD 751. I am running firmware 7.12. I noticed that there is an update to 7.2. I downloaded 7.2 but am confused as how to go ahead a burn this? Can anyone help....

Also, anyone that has done the region hack I can not figure out how to do this either... Can someone help me out on this as well too??? It says about using the controller but HOW???

Should I just stay with the 7.12. Is the 7.2 better???

There is a region hack for all Philips players. Try the RC6 hack. You need a remote that can produce a RC6 code. I used a Palm for this.
You can also try:

Play 159 222 222 005 255 Play

On your remote. This will decrease a 25x counter on your player. You have 25 goes for entering codes starting with Play 159. When your player is region-free there is probably no need to enter such codes anyway so this 25 times limit is no problem then.
The RC6 code comes in place of the Play 159 bit of the hack described above. This way does not affect the 25x counter.

The hack is of course at your own risk!

I have no experience with upgrading firmwares and I don't know if 7.2 (7.22???) is any better. The link I gave you also describes the proces of upgrading firmwares. Check it out before doing the actual upgrade.
