The program that'll help you out is Womble MPEG Editor - opens VOBs as well as MPEG formats...will edit perfectly without hassle.
DVD Shrink will also edit (open Re-Author to do this) - doesn't matter if there are chapter points or not...just slide the thingy that looks like a volume control...and stop it at the point you wish to cut.
Then re-open....and continue with starting point to where you want to cut. -

I second Womble... decent product and does a good job with VOB's and MPEG's alike. Transitions are a tad flakey but for FAST Mpeg editing it cannot be beat.Originally Posted by Rookie64
