I tend to agree. The US needs to stomp the enemy and leave scortched earth behind, including civilians who don't join with us to fight the enemy. But this will never happen (unless I become king of the world).

Meanwhile back on the ranch, the next bond has to be in his 30s or more to have credibilty as for expeirence in covert actions and a top notch education and social upbringing. I can think of a few action type actors that could maybe pull off the action parts but the debonair part of the role might be a bit tough for say Bruce Willus or the likes of. It may be time for a newcomer or unknown, and us to buy the new actor as Bond. The one advantage of useing a newcomer is that we wont be able to compare him with or hold him to any previous roles, and only be able to identify him as Bond. The same goes for the bond girls, the girls should be newcomers or up and coming and their future come from the movie, mot the movie from the actresses. I do like the Bond legend, but in reality the movies have always been kind on the cheesey side of entertainment.
