    I made a VCD with a menu in Nero but now I have a question. The disc plays fine and everything works but I can't fast forward or rewind the VCD. I can fast forward and rewind if the disc doesn't have a menu but can't when it does. Is this the way nero works or is it a problem specific to my player?

    I use Nero to burn vcds and xvcds with menus and I am able to rewind and fast forward with my Pioneer DV-525, so it unfortunately may be your player.

    Player most likely. Try the disc in another player of another brand to be sure.
