I ripped Stuart Little 2 using DVD Decrypter.
When I previewed the video using DVD2AVI it would play for 2 seconds then jump back half a second then play for 2 seconds and so on. I tried switching feild order in DVD2AVI but the preview didn't change.
I played the ripped VOBs using PowerDVD and this unwanted playback problem showed up there. Normally VOB's play just like the movie in PowerDVD. The disc itself plays fine in PowerDVD also.
So it's obviuosly a problem with the VOB's being ripped.
Any ideas on a fix ?
Thanks

Try ripping with SmartRipper and see if you get the same thing. I have had a few DVD's that I had to switch rippers for whatever reason to get them backed up.

PowerDVD now plays back the VOB's fine, well the first one atleast. It's ripping as I type.
I first noticed a problem with the audio sync. Hopefully this vob problem was the cause.
Thanks Bob W, Legend!
