Possible to delete the first chapter ?

Is it possible to delete (or at least, stop playing) the first chapter in a DVD? I've tried the 'delete playback' thing in IFOEdit and either I'm doing something wrong or it can't do what I need it to.

I'm trying to backup a movie DVD which has for it's first chapter a blank screen accompanied by music. I'd like to get rid of that chapter and just go straight into the movie.

Is this possible?

Stickj it on your hard drive, then open it up in smart ripper and rip again but unclick the first chapter
