it gets cheaper the more you buy. like a pack of ten might cost $10 and a pack of 50 might be $20. i just got a pack of 100 for $20. so you just have to shop around and look for deals.

  3. I buy Intenso CDR's for about 15p (24c) each. This is a trade price and doesn't include a case. Expect to pay between 30p and 50p per disc in a retail outlet. You can buy online, but postage charges are wild and really bump up the total price.

American prices bear no relation to what the rest of the world will pay for goods - I can't imagine too many Americans paying £3.60 ($5.67) for a gallon of petrol!!!!

  5. Yes, we have petrol and diesel for cars. Both cost about the same (80p a litre). The first 21p per litre is the cost of the fuel and the rest is government tax! I normally fill up in the Irish Republic (25 miles away from me) at a saving of 30p a litre, although recently price rises there have cut this down to 16p a litre.

PS. If you call petrol "gas" then what do you call gas??

we also have regular gas and diesel. diesel is mostly for semis. cars don't use it.
p.s. what type of gas are you talking about in your p.s.?

  7. Petrol (petroleum) in Europe is typically called "gasoline" (gas) in America.
Gas in Europe is typically called natural gas (e.g. gas for the furnace)
    in America.

I'm in Melbourne Australia, and I use LPG in my car, which is similar to the stuff you use for BBQ cylinders. It only costs 44 cents per litre (26 $US)

    What Svetz said

Last lot I bought from there were £4.38 for 25 Datawrite-branded 80min Datasafe CDRs (excluding covers)

You can get 50 Nanya White Premiums there for £7.50

All prices include VAT, but exclude P&P. Definitely worth a look.

  11. I have bought the DataSafe Premium CDR discs from www.121cdr.co.uk but found them absolute crap (the discs not the company!) but postal charges were about 8 quid for 100 discs so it's not very economical.

Weird! I've used 200 of the Datasafe Silver Premiums and have used over 30 of the Datawrite-branded ones and found them very reliable.

The last order I paid 3.99 P&P for 2/3 day delivery (UK Mainland) - arrived next day!!!

BTW www.121cdr.co.uk is the same company as www.blankdiscshop.co.uk (SVP Communications)

  13. I will never buy another DataSafe product again - the amount of those discs I had to throw out was unbelievable!

  14. Just checked out the shipping charges and its still £6.99 plus VAT with a 3 day delivery schedule. You really have to be buying cases too to make it worth your while.
