DVD-R Mp3s on Pansonic XP-30/50?

Hi,

Didn't getg much response in the DVD authoring forum so maybe here is a better place...

I've wasted a couple of DVD-Rs now trying to create a collection of MP3s on a DVD-R to play on my new Panasonic XP30. I've tried two different programs (DiscJuggler and Nero) and 2 different types of DVD-R media.

Presumably I'm getting something basic wrong. I'm simply creating a data DVD-R using the standard settings of both tools. They definately create something readable on several PCs but not to the player.

Can anyone who has managed this let me know what software they used and what format etc. / options they set to get one to play.

Do you actually have some evidence that this player supports MP3 playback from DVD-r. AFAIK very few players support this. Generally, as soon as a player sees DVD media, it assumes DVD-video and will accept nothing else. Be surer your player has this capability before wasting any more media.
