Hi, I;m using Premiere 6.5. When I play a video it is very jerky, not smooth at all, and the sound is the same. If I play the same file in Realplayer it runs fine. It happens even with low res files. Please help, thanks.

The project settings need to match the AVI that you're playing. If the don't match (especialy the audio frequency) than it will play back jerky.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........
