The link I posted above seems a little strange. The screen shots look too familiar and the wording is a bit exaggeratedhm, DVD to VCD(MPEG1) isn't exact quality. Anyways, has anybody tried this software?...EXACTLY the SAME QUALITY..

It uses free software like dvdx and tmpgenc. Most such dvd backup tools are based on free software...there are a few that aren't but they have demos that you can download and test first.
DVDx guide and tmpgenc guide:

Thanks, that's why those sreen shots look familiar. I used DVDx in the past and I still use Tmpgenc once in a while. So basicaly the consumer is just paying for the "instructions", the same kind you can get here for free.

And I'm sure a whole lot better instructions right here.

Here is the blurb from the site:
"You're not going to find an easier, more complete or more advanced way to convert your movies, WE GUARANTEE IT! DVD Professional is the ORIGINAL, all-in-one, most up to date product ever! The thousands of hours spent developing this product for you is worth the ridiculously low price below! How can we say this? Because it's our job to stay on the cutting edge of this technology."
If thousands of hours were spent on developing this thing, I feel sorry for the developer. Looks like it was ripped from a bunch of freely available tools here! -
The first shot is of FlaskMpeg, and the second one is Tmpegenc . They just grabbed a bunch of freeware and started selling it. I wish my cocious would let me thieve like that. I think thats worse than warez.
