I am seriously considering purchasing a ADVC-100 or the more pricey model ADVC-500 but can’t find any local shops that I can buy the unit from and still have the option to return with ease. If someone could send me a small DV sample I could run a few tests and get a much better idea of whether the Canopus would be worth the time and investment to meet my specific needs.
My capping will vary from: VHS via Monster S-VIDEO
LaserDisc –via- Audio Quest S-VIDEO
DirecTV (Sony SAT-W60 Ultimate TV) -via- Monster S-Video
DirecTV High Definition/Standard Definition –via- Audio Quest Component Cable
