Hi there,

I just have a DVD-ROM and A CDRW-BURNER.
I would like to to burn a dvd movie into a format (only via cd-burner) that can be played on a PS2.
Is that possible? As I realise that the PS2 cannot play VCD format as yet.

Any helpful information is greatly appreciated.

No.

PS2 doesn't play anything CD for movies. (Maybe commercial VCD, but don't think even that.) Even PS2 DVD player is picky. You need an actual DVD/VCD player or to watch on your computer.
