I thought this one was answered in ttools forum? the answer will be the same as in this forum.

homerpez, these are the terms used in the VCDImager type XML files. They refer to specific functions available on a VCD. I've described what all these mean here: http://www.geocities.com/medinotes/vcd/general_xml_structure.html

This is the <return> tag in the XML. You can use in within a <playlist> or <selection>. The link referred to in <return> is where the VCD will go to when the user presses the button "RETURN" on the VCD/DVD player. You can link to another <playlist>, <selection> or <endlist>.

This can have one of two values -- it only has any meaning if you use a video clip as a background to a <selection> (i.e., menu):
immediate -- the player will react immediately when you press a key (you will almost always want this functionality)
delayed -- the player will not act on the user key press until the video clip of the menu has finished playing
<TABLE BORDER=0 ALIGN=CENTER WIDTH=85%><TR><TD><font size=-1>Quote:</font><HR size=1 color=black></TD></TR><TR><TD><FONT SIZE=-1><BLOCKQUOTE>loop wait</BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR size=1 color=black></TD></TR></TABLE>
I think that this is a TSCV specific term... but it probably refers to the <wait> setting within a <selection> or menu. This is the amount of time the VCD will pause on the menu (still clip background menu or amount of time it will pause AFTER a video clip background menu has finished playing and looping).
It will wait for this amount of time (in seconds) and then automatically go to whatever is linked in <timeout>.
<TABLE BORDER=0 ALIGN=CENTER WIDTH=85%><TR><TD><font size=-1>Quote:</font><HR size=1 color=black></TD></TR><TR><TD><FONT SIZE=-1><BLOCKQUOTE>Wait</BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR size=1 color=black></TD></TR></TABLE>
In the context of <wait> in a <selection>, I explained it above. In the context of <wait> in a <playlist>, this is the amount of time (in seconds) that the VCD will pause for after the <play-item> has finished playing. After this pause, it will automatically go to whatever is linked in <next>.
<TABLE BORDER=0 ALIGN=CENTER WIDTH=85%><TR><TD><font size=-1>Quote:</font><HR size=1 color=black></TD></TR><TR><TD><FONT SIZE=-1><BLOCKQUOTE>BSN</BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR size=1 color=black></TD></TR></TABLE>
Base Starting Number (or something like that). This is the numerical selection of the first choice in a <selection> (or menu).
For example, if <bsn>1</bsn> is placed in a <selection>, then the first selection item can be selected by pressing "1", the next by "2" and the third by "3" and so on.
If <bsn>23</bsn> is placed in a <selection>, then the first selection item can be selected by pressing "23", the next by "24" and the third by "25", etc.
bsn cannot be 0 and cannot be > 99. Furthermore, you must ensure that no selection can be selected with a key press > 99.
Most of these terms I've described in the link I gave before. You just have to search for it as the article was written as an explanation of the tags used in the XML rather than as an explanation of TSCV.
Regards.
