  1. Hope this is the right forum

I am trying to make a 3 CD SVCD play on one DVD-RW without re-encoding the video. I've had a few problems though. I've tried joining the 3 .mpg files and then demultiplexing converting the audio to ac3 and then using ifoedit to process and nero to burn the dvd files. The first 40 minutes or so of the movie plays flawlessly(without editing the headers or anything), but then when it get to about where the second cd starts the audio suddenly gets way out of sync, like 2 minutes ahead of the video. So then I tried demultiplexing and converting each cd's audio to ac3. But now I don't know what to do after that. I tried using ifoedit to author all 3 then just rename the files to vts01_01 _02 _03 etc and create new IFOs but then my player only played the first file. I am a bit of a newbie to DVD authoring so I would appreciate any and all help. I don't have any other software to use at the moment.

    cliff notes:

    trying to make a dvd-svcd
video works fine on standalone without re-encoding or changing headers
audio gets way out of sync
    I am a n00b at dvd authoring

  2. I could use help if someone can tell me how I can make 3 vobs that were created seperately play on the same disc or author the 3 seperate .m2vs and ac3s without exactly splicing them together because every time I do the audio ends up out of sync but seperately they are fine.
