Ok, I'm recording some ...things with my Panasonic DMR E30 and ripping them to my hard drive. Now the problem is, I've got 2 hours of movie in a single VOB file and I'd like to split it up. I've checked out a few VOB tools, but I haven't found any that will let me split the files by time (e.g. 00:00- 44:00, 44:00-62:00, etc). I really don't wanna waste hours converting to another format when this plays perfectly fine in PowerDVD.

if you hit play then pause you'll be able to see the time. -
Um... why is it, when I use ChopperXP to open a 4 gig VOB file that's 2:00:28 long, it thinks it's only 20 minutes long!?

Have you tried DVDToolbox? I've only used it to split .vobs that are episodes. I think it might work on movies as well. :P
