  1. I am looking for a program where i can take any type of video file and put them together as one, is their a program out there that does that?

    Yes, that program is VirtualDub. It's in the Tools Section to your left. :P

    That's to hope for too much - To join two (or more) video files, they must share all properties like encoding method, resolution, bitrates etc.
    AVIs can be joined with VirtualDub and MPEGs with TMPGEnc. MPEGs are harder - I've had nothing but audio sync problems when trying this.
