I just bought my 1st DVD recorder and now its outdated before I get it out of the box.
After reading your link I see it will be about 4 years before i could afford blue lazer.
I learned a hard lesson many years ago i bought one of the 1st vhs recorders out it was back in the 70s it was a rca 501 cost $1200 now you can get vhs recorders less than $50 but who would want them? I guess someone has to pay them to build them but I think i will wait till the prices get more resonable. Got my SD-R5002 for $180 delievered from newegg.com the wait was worth it.
I see sony isnt going to make the betamax vs vhs mistake. I bet that all happened before most here were even born
