I've been using CCE to convert AVI to DVD. This first time I did it i selected an average bitrate of 2000. the total length of the MPEG2 encoded avi was only 1.6GB. Baldrick suggested increasing the avg, bitrate so I encoded using an avg. bitrate of 3500. The resulting MPEG2 is 4.5GB and I still need to add a 300KB AC3 before I author and burn. Is this an application for a bitrate calculator.
thanks in advance,
