  1. I keep on reading about inklet printable discs - and may be this is a stupid question - but how in the world am I going to print directly onto a disc? It's hard to imagine how my printer feeds a DVD in ...

    Your printer probably wont be able to.

    You will more than likely have to buy a printer thats been designed for printing onto DVD-r's.

    prints direct onto CD/DVD's, but it currently sells at £320 - £350.

    And besides having to buy a special printer (one that accepts CD/DVD disks on a special holder and moves them in a straight line), you need to use special, printable disks.

    Verbatim has, apart from other companies. I bought some DVD+Rs and they came to be printable. At least they were not more expensive than the normal ones.

    Printable disks have a white silky surface that apparently absorbs ink and allows for a permanent fix. Don't try to print on normal glass-looking disk surface or you will end up in a mess
