I have been trying to get the answer to that quesion myself without much success. I have a Matrox G450 dual head and alos have a scan converter and still am not 100% pleased with the results. Anyone out there that has knowledge in this area would be much appreciated

it depends on what your goals are....if you just want to watch mpeg1&2 based files (including vcd, svcd, dvd), get the realmagic h+ card that is very cheap and has amazing quality.....if you want to watch divx also, that is another story....i can't help with that because i do not have tv-out or a scan converter
