    Hi i have started backing up my movies to vcd's i successfully backed up 2 movies. I followed every thing on these web pages, the beginners step by step guides etc.. (Big Help!!) farly clear. i am using TMPGEnc for encoding avi's to Mpegs virtual dub 1.5.1 for the sound. just one problem i tried to back up About a boy this way but every time it seems to be 2-3 seconds out of sync, can't find anything to help me been looking but must have missed something can any one help??

  2. I had the same problems and now I use Mainconcept.
    No sync problems so far.

  3. I tried to use Mainconcept as well, but i have problems to get the just size. I mean, 16:9 is not enough, i need more stretched. Can Machango tell me what is the equivalent with TMPGEnc's " keep aspect ratio " ?

  4. only way is to frameserve from virtualdub or avisynth. Easiest way I found was use fitcd to generate avisynth file then just frameserve into mainconcept. perfect every time!!!

  5. Sorry bighousie but it's a problem of mainconcept not to keep the aspect ratio. I'm trying o framesserve frlom Vdub but I don't konw how to do it because I can't open the .vdr file
