    I'm looking for a simple program or anything that will simply tell me the info about a MPEG file.

    For example - frame rates, audio frequency, audio bit rate etc.

    Can anyone help.

    Theres a version of vitadub which will load mpg. It should give you the file info. Or try AVICODEC both of these tools can be found on this site, although I can't remember where.....
