  1. k i have tmpge main concept lsx encoders and they all worked recently now when i try to encode any movie i get the microsoft error message and i can never finish any thing any clues out there it is getting me pretty you know what

    any help would do even if it is to go to another encoder?

  3. just says (whatever progam i am running) we have encountered an error and you might lose data.
    send error report or not and when i reply not then it all shhuts down.
    In the data it say something about my ip address and the registered program i don;t know

    Since it happens with all the encoders it sounds like you have a system corruption (a bad DLL or codec perhaps).

    What Operating System are you runnng, and have you installed anything new recently ?

  5. winxp and nothing installed that i think would do anything is there a way to check?

    No easy way.

    Firstly I would check the Event Viewer to see if there are any reported errors.
    Select 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel' -> 'Administrative Tools' -> 'Event Viewer' -> 'Application'.

    If nothing is reported I would then use 'System Restore' to restore XP to a known point when the applications where working. (But before doing this take a restore point first in case you need to get XP back to your current condition).
