Hello, i've got a hauppauge WinTV go card, got it installed, runs fine. Today, i put another monitor on my windows 2000 box, and that runs fine. However, now when i try to watch TV using the card on the computer with both monitors, my cpu usage jumps skyhigh. I've got a P4, 2.27 gigahertz pc, 512 meg ram, with just my background programs running, i'm at about 2.0% processor usage, with the winTV program running, i'm pushing 95-100% constantly. I don't know why the sudden change. I did have to use this Primary.exe program that came with the installation of the card to change the option to Allow Overlay so i could watch TV on the secondary monitor.
Therefore, i would appreciate it if you could give me any opinions, either on a way to fix the usage with the WinTV2000 program that came with the card, or on a different program (not powerVCR, for some reason it doesn't recognize my TV card)
Thanks for your help.
